Early Sunday morning, there was a violent
earthquake. An angel rolled back the stone and sat on it. The
guards shook at the sight of the angel at the tomb, and became like
dead men. Some of the women who had followed Jesus went to look at
the tomb. The angel told them that Jesus was risen, just as he had
said he would do. |
